Treantly Brand Kit

The brand, living.

The single reference for how Treantly looks and sounds. Treantly is a human-first offshore hiring partner; the identity pairs the Treant (a forest guardian) with a fingerprint, organic and dependable, never sterile. Use this page to design anything we produce, and to see where the brand stands today.

Palette

Greens and warm neutrals are the grounded foundation. Lime is the single primary action per view. Yellow is an accent for a key word, never a large fill. Click any swatch to copy its hex. Colors come from tokens only; never hardcode a hex.

Web accent: the brighter lime --t-lime-bright (#C8E85A) is an approved accent for on-screen moments: CTA hover, highlight swipe, eyebrow dot. It is intentional, not a drift from #E3F599; use either for web CTAs and highlights. --t-grey-people and --t-red-alert are illustration accents only, never UI color.

Typography

DM Sans is the single brand typeface, used for headers, body, and UI. Hierarchy comes from weight and scale, not a second face.

DM Sans · weight hierarchy
Bold 700 for headers and key emphasis
Medium 500 for highlighted keywords
Regular 400 is body text everywhere across the brand.
Extra Light 300 for subtext, taglines, and disclaimers.

Numbers Binding

Every numeric or data readout (prices, stats, rates, dashboard figures, tables) renders in DM Sans with font-variant-numeric: tabular-nums so columns of figures line up.

Voice & language Binding

How Treantly sounds and reads. These rules are hard constraints, enforced by the content linter and the brand-check pass. Visual experimentation is encouraged; language is not a place to improvise.

Positioning

One-liner: Offshore hiring you can trust. (Category line: Human-first offshore hiring partner.)

Elevator: Treantly is the human-first way to hire offshore: we find the right person for the role, take ownership, and stay involved, so you get someone who shows up, delivers, and stays.

Value prop: Hire offshore without the risk: a dedicated, fully-managed professional who learns your business and stays.

Trust frame locked 2026-06-26: lead with trust, not features. Public launch still needs the claims sourced and a Victor / Richard final read.

One messaging house, three readers

One core promise across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise: offshore hiring you can trust, proven by retention. No sub-brands, no separate value props. What flexes is the leading pillar per reader:

  • SMB owner: lead with relief and time back.
  • Mid-market and enterprise: lead with continuity and reliability (the retention proof) plus risk and security.
  • Enterprise proof layer: security and compliance (SOC 2 / ISO 27001, data handling, NDAs), named account management, and the option to staff a team, not just one person.
Managed-first: Managed is the default story on every surface. Direct Hire exists and may be mentioned where relevant, but it never gets co-equal billing with the managed model.

Terminology

ConceptApprovedAvoid
The person we placethe specific role (preferred, e.g. SOC Analyst, Bookkeeper); a dedicated professional (generic); candidate (pre-placement)"VA", "virtual assistant", coined labels (the retired "Treantly Assistant")
What Treantly ishiring partner, offshore hiring partnerstaffing agency, outsourcing vendor, BPO

Filipino talentFilipino professionals, talent in the Philippinescheap labor, overseas help
The matchmatched, paired, placedassigned, supplied, deployed

We place people into specific roles, so lead with the role and fall back to "a dedicated professional." No coined personal labels: the former "Treantly Assistant" / "TA" name is retired (buyers do not recognize it).

The CTA system

One primary call to action per view (mirrors the one-lime rule). Anything outside this list is off-list and gets flagged.

Claims library

Writers never invent numbers. Every stat comes from this library, and none ships publicly until its source is confirmed. Figures render in DM Sans tabular-nums.

ClaimStatusSource
95%+ stay past year oneWording approved · canonical retention proof, leads site-wideinternal placement data, confirm exact source

30%+ revenue increaseWording approved · draft, not clearedconfirm source
50+ hours freed per monthWording approved · draft, not clearedconfirm source

Retention is the wedge, and 95%+ stay past year one is its one canonical line (decided 2026-06-26); never pair it with a contradicting tenure figure (the earlier 11-month average is retired). Until a claim's source is confirmed it is a draft placeholder, not cleared for publication.

Grammar & mechanics

  • No em dash characters (the U+2014 glyph) in client-facing copy. Use a comma, colon, or period, or rephrase. The linter and deploy guard both block the glyph.
  • En dashes are fine in numeric ranges only, like 30-50% or 2-4 weeks.
  • Headings in sentence case. Wordmark TREANTLY and proper nouns excepted.
  • Digits for stats, prices, and counts. Oxford comma. Active voice, present tense, second person for the reader.

Visual design: principles & latitude

The brand guide is the reference for visual work, and experimentation is encouraged. The moves below are sanctioned, including liberties first explored in the social and one-pager work. This latitude is visual only; the language rules above always apply.

Core principles

  • Forest and cream foundation, weight-driven hierarchy in DM Sans.
  • Lime for the one primary action; yellow as a single-word accent.
  • Generous whitespace, asymmetric composition, rounded edges.
  • Quiet motion: staggered reveals, subtle hover lift.

Sanctioned latitude (editorial & social)

  • Oversized editorial hero words far above the UI type scale.
  • More than one lime moment in a single editorial composition (the one-primary-CTA rule still holds for product UI).
  • Invented support components such as the service tag strip.
  • Hierarchy from weight and scale within DM Sans, the single brand face (oversized bold display words are fair game).

Guardrails on latitude

  • Language stays governed: approved terminology, sourced claims, the CTA system, and no em dash characters, every time.
  • Numbers are always DM Sans tabular-nums, never a display face.
  • Keep body copy readable: aim for 16px on web and product, and do not drop social body text below roughly 14px.
  • Always the real logo, correct variant for the background, never a fabricated mark.

Tokens reference

The machine-readable values, shared with tokens.css and tokens.json in the design-studio brand kit. Reference these variables; never hardcode.

2026-07 · latest

Trust frame locked; "Treantly Assistant" retired

Positioning now leads with trust (locked 2026-06-26): new one-liner, elevator, and value prop. The coined "Treantly Assistant" / "TA" label is retired; name the specific role or say "a dedicated professional." Bottom-of-page high-intent primary CTA is now "Build your team." Claims library expanded: 95%+ stay past year one is the canonical retention proof, and every unsourced claim is marked draft. One messaging house spans SMB through enterprise with a per-segment leading pillar and an enterprise proof layer. Managed is the default story; Direct Hire is a mention, never co-equal. Tokens re-synced from design-studio (adds the bright-lime and illustration accents).

2026
